Summary
All patients have a named GP and where possible we try to provide continuity of care, many issues can be dealt with by other professionals in our team such as the Nurse Practitioners; you may be required to see other GPs depending on availability, urgency and whether it is at our main site or the branch surgery.
Our standard appointment times are 10 minutes, we are aware that some surgeries now offer 15 minute appointments but we are conscious of the impact that this might have on our availability given the high demand from our list of 16,400 patients.
We will review our appointment scheduling to see if we can accommodate a mix of appointment lengths.
We will undertake our own short survey of Long Term Condition patients to try and discover where support is lacking in the community.
