The latest infection control guidance from Somerset CCG asks that patients wear a surgical facemask when entering a GP Practice. The reason for this is that they are proven to be most effective in protecting against the spread of COVID-19.
We therefore politely ask that, from now on, patients wear a surgical facemask rather than a fabric/homemade face covering or scarf. Surgical facemasks are now widely available to purchase in shops and online. In this transition period however we will provide one for you if needed.
